Pendulum are fairly big time now, but Sub Focus are small fry compared to them.

Both drum and bass.

Everything, firstly they're a poor man's pearl jam (check them out). cliched and obvious lyrics. the singer's name is chad kruger, too close to freddie kruger for my liking. he's also trying to pull off the kurt cobain look and failing. they are a band your mum would by in asda along with shania twain and the corrs best of. lowering the standards of rock for the masses, etc etc. i could go on and on about that band. if you like a band of dc standards you should know what is gash and what isn't. Wink Wink Very Happy

seriously though each to their own and that.

someone mentioned pendulum, all you need is hold your colour, they lost the plot trying to penetrate the charts and ended up dilluting themselves behond recognition. notable highlights the voodoo people remix. bangin'. i like this thread. Very Happy

FYI his name is Chad Kroeger not Kruger, the Kurt Cobain look.........get a grip!! Cobain was probably smacked out of his tits on heroin most of the time, i don't think you'd find Kroeger on that stuff.

Pearl Jam.....hmmm!! Even Flow is good but not much else i have to admit.

Agreed. In Silico is far to softcore D&B for my liking. Hold Your Colour is your proper, hard drum and bass. People who are into proper D&B, don't listen to In Silico, get the 1st album. It's much better.

Take something like The Other Side and put it against stuff from the 1st album like Through the Loop, Fasten Your Seatbelts or Tarantula, and it doesn't stand a chance.

Absolutely everything, their music has no invention - preferring to go down the route of diluted corporate grunge circ 1995. Their imagery is cliched, obvious and nothing more than astandard bearer for the kind of pseudo-rock corporate crap served up for £9.99 at all reasonable supermarkets.....

And that's before I get onto what an Kroeger is.

Over the years I've seen/heard;
The Rolling Stones (Hampden + GUN) and Murrayfield
U2 at Celtic Park with Stereo MC's (both mince!)
INXS (GECC)
Crowded House (GECC)
Bryan Adams (GECC)
Runrig (various places)
Chris Rea
Goodbye Mr MacKenzie
Level 42
The Silencers
Deacon Blue
Hue & Cry
The Proclaimers
The Average White Band
The Hollies
2/5'ths of Sqeeze (Glen Tilbrook and the other bloke)

And a few decent tribute acts too.

Oh aye, Joes band-Andy Chung-Dennis Alexander and one or two others too
Wink

rentboy sorry i meant Renton, Have you seen Nickelback live? If not then your not really at liberty to judge them, most of the people i know like them, but you don't......whoop dee do!!

If Nickelback were british i'm sure your views would differ, i think you've got issues against bands/artists from Canada.
