Im sure he will enjoy himself on the show though I hope he isnt expecting too much from the VRN green room.

I'm really looking forward to Rock the rovers again this year. I've been to the previous 3! Hows ticket sales going? This one doesn't seem to be as well advertised as the previous ones. Most people i've soken to, when i told them i was going, didn't even know it was on?

Well they must be walking about with the heads in the clouds either that or the posters and flyers i have put out over the last 2 months have been taken down or hidden after i have left.I personally couldnt have done any more to publicise this gig or to organise things any better than i have.Myself and harlem have spent a few bob on getting posters,flyers etc done.I have given the fife free press all the details,contacted forth one,contacted the daily record,plastered it all over the websites and you wonder why i get stressed every year.When i hear folk saying these things it doesnt half put me on a downer as it makes me wonder if i am wasting my time setting it all up.I hope they come down and also tell them cds are on sale priced £7.

What do you mean put the toys back in the pram as i am only stating facts as for FORTH ONE it was colin oliver i spoke to.For you or anyone elses info colin does the forth action piece on there a couple of times a day.I emailed trying to get presenters over but for whatever reason they cant make it but colin phoned me so i emailed him all the details.He then wanted me to go to edinburgh to record a bit to go on the radio.I couldnt make it at all as i work and have too much to do. He did ask if anyone else could go but i couldnt think of anyone[sorry if i missed someone out]who stays over there that knows all the info about the gig and is involved that could have done it.I was promised they would plug it but so far not heard anything so maybe tomorrow it will be on.I emailed info to the record hoping it would be in the gig guide and THE BUZZ[i think]that is in the paper on a friday but nothing yet so tomorrow it may or may not.Local businesses and media do help some far more than others but there is a few well known establishments with a so called interest in raith who wont get involved even with putting a poster up.I would like to thank allan for going on VRN and publicising the gig but UNFORTUNATELY i missed his 12 minutes of fame but i did catch some quality rovers banter.One last thing and am not falling out with romario BUT YOU BETTER BELIEVE I TAKE IT PERSONALLY AS ITS ME THAT ORGANISES RTR EVERY YEAR.If its a failure its ME that has to explain to the charities or the football club that i cant give em much money if any.So rather than have a pop at things just come along and enjoy the music and raise some dosh.

I have to say a MASSIVE thanks to SoW and all the other RTR crew for putting on a fantastic show, I would also like to thank the management, the bar staff, the PA guys and the door staff who also played a huge part in a huge success. I am looking forward to next years event already.

P.S, how good was the DJ last night!!

The dj was shocking Wink

but the gig was fantastic and already planning next years gig.I would like to thank the sponsors who parted with their hard earned cash,the bands and solo`s who were outstanding as per usual.Thanks to all my mates who helped with the crew all day and it is a long day for everyone but they were great.A special thanks to scott and all the harlem staff who give me the run of the club every year because if they didnt i couldnt do the gig.The 2 irish bands PAY*OLA and HALF SHOT enjoyed their day that much that they didnt want to go home today and already booked themselves in to play next year.I hope everyone who came along enjoyed the day as i did although its stressful its worth it.The chairman,ally gourlay,alex condie and colin harris all came along at different times to support the event and to intro bands on stage.THANKS AGAIN AND READY TO ROCK NEXT YEAR AGAIN on SUNDAY AUGUST 23rd. Wink
