On deployment at the current moment with the Navy, and we're popping into Malta(5 days) and Dubai(16 days) along the way, and was wondering if anyone knew of any decent places to drink, eat, sleep etc etc while we're visiting?
Cheers! |

Go to the Arif Castle when you're in Dubai. A very classy bar! _________________ Follow the Trust on facebook and twitter |

Used to live in the Sliema/St. Julians area of Malta.
Spinola Bay in St. Julians is nice for restaurants and cafe/bar type places with nice outdoor areas.
If you want to go out and get hammered and want more of a party atmosphere, walk five minutes up the coast to Paceville. The clubs tend to be full of teenage students from various European countries studying English. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing for you... |

Forgot to say when you go to Dubai the seamans mission just across the road from where you berth there is an ex matelot that runs it and you have a good laugh, and it's cheap ale with a swimming pool. |
