30 cds sold so far just another 970 to go and the feedback has been good aswell am also wondering if gordon played a couple of tracks at the game last night before and ht. Laughing

CD is great Quinny, as well as good quality production there is a good variety of music and at times it's amazing to think that the bands are only local bands and not professionals. All the tracks are good, but it's worth the £7 alone for Sarah Dingwall's "Somewhere over the rainbow" which is a truly amazing track.

Andy Chung's "Naebody" is a hoot too, am really looking forward to Rock the Rovers 4 now!

I asked for feedback and testimonials from some of the people I know, including non-Rovers fans and people in some of the bands, who bought the CD (not made up, honest). Some comments as follows:

"good bands playing good songs for a great club"

"it's great of local bands to support the club in this way - the quality and songs are excellent"

"what a great idea - the cd has a brilliant range of songs and it gives us something to remember Rock the Rovers with until next year"

"The CD sounds amazing - well done to all the guys at Carnegie college and all the other bands for putting together such a fantastic CD.
I'm really proud of our recording and am sure that all the other bands will be too - the songs all sound brilliant."

Is it possible to have someone from the Rock the Rovers foundation as a guest on our radio show Thursday night?

The show is on 1287AM and goes out live between 7 and 8PM (repeated Saturday 11 AM)

If the person could be available even from 7.20 to 7.40pm that would be enough.

I have asked Gav who isnt really keen. It is a chance to plug the gig have a couple of tracks from the CD played.

While guesting the person could contribute to the weekly chat which is pretty much all about Raith Rovers.

The show has weekly interviews from the previous games press conferences and normally John McG offering a midweek look forward to the next match.

There are regular contributions offering a fans eye view of the games and a stats piece on the next game.

Oh and last week we integrate some views from the web into the chat....SOW, Tam, Daryll1990 and Big Ain had their posts from Ross C and Queens P discussed last week.
